Setting the Date and Time
You can set the phone to display the date and time on the stand-by screen. When this setting is
enabled, the A5303HⅡ will receive current date and time information for the local service area,
and the date and time will be updated accordingly.

Using E-mail and C-mail

If you subscribed to the E-mail service when you purchased A5303HⅡ, you will be able to use
the E-mail service immediately. If you did not, please contact the au shop where you
purchased your phone for further information. Make sure that you set the default settings
before using the E-mail and EZweb services for the first time. (See “Setting the E-mail/EZweb
Default Settings” above.)

Subscribers in the Tokyo and Chubu – incorporating Aichi, Gifu, and Mie prefectures –
metropolitan areas do not need to subscribe to use this service. For subscribers located
outside of these areas, a separate subscription is required.

Using EZweb
EZweb is an information service that allows you to enjoy easy Internet access from your au
mobile phone. You can enjoy this service wherever the signal reaches. To use EZweb service,
separate subscription is needed. (Additional charge is needed.) If you did not subscribe to EZweb
service when you purchased A5303HⅡ, please contact the au shop where you purchased your
phone or contact the customer service by phone.
If you subscribed to the EZweb service when you purchased your phone, you will be able to use
the EZweb service immediately. Make sure that you set the default settings before using the E-
mail and EZweb services for the first time. (See “Setting the E-mail/EZweb Default Settings”
above.)

● Manner Mode
From the stand-by screen: change Kikubari (Courtesy) switch
Normal: Ringer tone sounds.
Safety : After ringer tone sounds, the caller hears the message
indicating that you are driving and, the caller can leave a
message.

: After A5303HⅡ vibrates without ringing, the caller hears
the message, then the caller can leave a message.
