Many children are interested in dinosaurs (恐龙). If you have a child who loves
dinosaurs, then here is some good news for you. There is an exhibition about dinosaurs
at the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum in Wembley, Alberta. You can plan a family

Sitting just 9 kilometers west of Grande Prairie, the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur
Museum opened in 2015 and has collections that include fossils (化石) of sea animals,

discovery fossil walk, a large outdoor playground, and the onsite Dine-O-Saur
restaurant. Experience the dinosaurs’ world unlike before at all as you watch

I owe (欠) my father a huge thank -you! Sure, I need to thank him for all those
years of paying my bills, fixing my bikes, and providing a shoulder to cry on. But
this year I realized that his contributions to my childhood were much more than that.
I grew up as Daddy’s Little Girl. If I had a problem that needed fixing or a
question that needed answering, he was the one I ran to. He helped me get through
everything from math homework as a high school student to career choices as a young
adult. He always expected that I do my best in whatever I did, and he believed I

to those same standards. He always showed me unconditional love, which helped me

As I was growing up, my father also showed to me how a woman should be lavished.

On my first day of high school, I woke up very early. I would begin my journey
of high school. Thousands of thoughts rushed through my mind. “Will I fit in? Will

Scientists have made great discoveries. But how have they influenced our

Another way some scientists can encourage kids is through their diversity. Neil
deGrasse Tyson, for example, is an African-American, which is not common in his field.

It’s important to know that scientists don’t need to be “gifted” or “good”
at school. Often we consider a scientist as being an extremely smart kid at school.
That doesn’t have to be true. They just need to have a great interest in science.
Telling students stories of scientists can encourage them to show interest in science.
As long as they’re interested, they are likely to become a scientist in the future.
Modern scientists teach kids that knowledge builds upon the foundation others
have laid. This is important — no one can do it alone. Scientists’ stories can
encourage today’s young scientists to keep trying. They’ll be encouraged not to
give up on the dream of making discoveries. Even if they haven’t made important
discoveries, their research may help the following scientists.
