Notes on Battery Usage When you use the battery, carefully read and strictly observe the Safety Instructions and the notes described below: Use only the specified battery (NP60, 3.7V). Avoid using the battery in extremely cold environments as low temperatures can shorten the battery life and reduce digital video camera performance. Fully charge and discharge battery for one complete cycle prior to first use. Using new rechargeable batteries, or batteries which have not been used for a long time, without first charging/discharging may cause the battery life to be shorter than optimum.
