Thank you for choosing Pantech PG-3300 and welcome
to wireless mobile communication networking with the PG-
3300, our tri-band GSM mobile phone.
Pantech is delighted to introduce this brand new portable
phone which will always keep you connected to the
network.
This user manual explains in detail its unique features and
how to use them.
NOTE

from your phone, depending on your software version and network

Using a mobile phone while driving may be

Always switch your phone off in areas with explosive or
dangerous materials (such as fuels, fuel stations or areas
containing chemical goods) and obey any instructions or
signals. Do not remove your mobile phone’s battery in such
areas.
Safety precautions
Switch off in aircraft
Always switch your phone off when you are in an aircraft.
The electromagnetic waves emitted by your phone may
affect the electronic navigation equipment in the aircraft.
Switch off in hospitals and near medical equipment
Always switch your phone off in hospitals, and obey the
regulations or rules of the hospital.
Switch your phone off when using medical equipment
for private purposes, if possible. Always consult with the
medical equipment’s manufacturer or an expert regarding
phone use near the medical equipment.
Installing a hands free device in your vehicle
Install vehicle hands free devices away from the steering
and airbag expansion area, otherwise injury may result.
Mobile phones and other electronic devices
Mobile phones emit electromagnetic waves that may affect
nearby electronic devices. When it is switched on, do not
place your phone close to delicate electronic equipment.

Function
Performs the functions shown at the bottom line of the display.
Scrolls through the menu options in Menu mode.
In standby mode,
Left key (l): Favorite list screen
Right key (r): Games list screen
Up key (u): Messages menu screen
Down key (d): SIM Toolkit menu screen
For details, see “Using the Shortcut Key in Standby Mode”.
Opens the WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) menu list if pressed shortly in standby mode. Launches
the WAP browser directly, if pressed and held in standby mode.
Selects a menu functions which stores user input information, such as names, SIM memory. Also used for
confirmation.
Deletes characters from the display, or returns to previous menu.
Opens Calendar view if pressed shortly in standby.
Sends or receives a call. Shows the recent call list in standby mode.
Re-dials the last call number if pressed and held in standby mode.
Completes the current call. Turns on/off the phone if pressed and held.
Cancels user input and returns to standby mode while in Menu mode.
