The Compaq iPAQ™ Microportable Projector MP3800 generates
crisp, clear images onto a projection screen by using Digital Light
Processing (DLP) technology. The microportable projector offers
the latest in portable projection technology, including:

■ High Definition Television (HDTV) capable 720p, 1080i,

Powers the projector lamp on and off.
The Power/Standby LED changes
color modes to indicate the following
operating modes:
1. Flashing green indicates the
projector is going into standby
mode and cannot be restarted until
the LED glows amber steadily.
2. The LED button rapidly flashing
green indicates the lamp has
automatically shut down due to an
overtemperature event.
3. A steady amber LED indicates the
projector is ready to power-up.
4. A steady green LED indicates the
projector is on and operating
properly.

Automatically synchronizes the
projector to track the input source.
To use standby mode, press the Power/Standby button and, after
a six to ten second delay, the unit enters Standby mode and the
projector lamp turns off. A “Going to Standby” message appears
on the screen for the duration of the six to ten second delay. When
the message disappears from the screen, there is a 45 second
delay before the lamp can be turned back on. Wait 45 seconds to
allow the lamp to cool before pressing the Power/Standby button
again. To avoid going to Standby, press the Power/Standby button
again within the first five seconds.
