安全指导安全指导重要安全指导请在使用您的打印机以前阅读以下的指导。另外，请务必遵照标注在打印机上的所有警告和提示。 ❏ 每个月一次清洗清洗刮片，或在清洗打印头后当打印输出上出现涂污或间隙时清洗清洗刮片。请参见第 60 页的 “清洁清洗刮片” ❏ 当打印头周围有异物（如：灰尘或墨迹点或在打印头周围粘有墨水）时请清洁打印头周围。请参见第 62 页的 “清洁打印头周围” ❏ 不要触碰钢带，否则可能会造成伤害。警告、注意和注释 w 警告必须小心执行以免伤害人体。 c 注意必须认真遵守以免损坏设备。注释包含重要的信息和打印机操作的有用提示。 ❏ 不要弯曲或拉动废墨排出管。墨水可能会泄漏并损坏打印机。 ❏ 处理墨水时注意有关指导，请参见下面部分。特别注意用此打印机时请遵循下面特别注意。按下面来维护打印机并保护您的安全。 ❏ 避免将此产品放置在能够让电风扇或空调直接吹到的地方。风可能会让打印头喷嘴中的墨水变干并产生堵塞影响喷洒墨水，且不能获得满意的打印效果。 ❏ 在打印时不要触摸导纸器。它很烫，可能会发生灼伤。 ❏ 当加热器正在操作时，不要触摸进纸槽、滚筒或导纸器。他们很烫，可能会发生灼伤。 ❏ 当长时期不使用打印机（一个或多个星期），应每星期一次执行打印头清洗。如果不执行打印头清洗，打印头可能堵塞。这样做会保证打印质量。请参见第 66 页的 “打印头清洗” 5

安全指导处理废墨水当处理废墨水时请遵守以下几点 : 警告事项 ❏ 如果墨水粘到您的皮肤上，请使用大量的肥皂水清洗。如果您的皮肤感到不适或变色，请立即就医。 ❏ 请确保阅读此产品使用说明，再按照其中的要求安装或使用此产品。 ❏ 如果墨水进入您的眼睛，请立即用大量自来水冲洗，并立即就医。 ❏ 从打印机中排出的废墨水是工业废物。应依照工业废物处置法律及当地政府要求的法令来适当地处理废墨水。委托一家工业废物处理机构来处理废墨水。 ❏ 工作场所应远离明火且具有较好的通风条件。 ❏ 处理墨水时请注意避免墨水溅到您的皮肤、眼睛和衣服上，同时要避免意外食入。小心不要吸入墨水散发的气体。 ❏ 请穿好保护面具、眼罩、手套及长袖和长裤以避免在操作时接触到墨水。 ❏ 工作服可能被墨水污染应彻底清洗。 ❏ 在处理完墨水后请清洗您的手并漱口。 ❏ 不要在废墨水的附近放置食物。 ❏ 请将废墨水放置在小孩拿不到的地方。 ❏ 如果意外咽下，不要呕吐。请立刻就医。 ❏ 如果吸入了散发的气体，请走到有清新空气的地方，如果感到头晕或想吐请立即就医。 ❏ 如果出现呼吸停止，立刻进行人工呼吸，并拨打急救电话。 ❏ 如果墨水从容器中溢出，首先移走热源，火星和明火，然后使用布将其擦净。使用后的布若带有墨水应放在水中清洗直到将其清除。选择打印机的安放位置选择打印机的安放位置时请遵守以下几点 : ❏ 请将打印机放在平整、稳定的平面上，该平面在各个方向都要超出打印机的底座。如果打印机倾斜或有一定的角度，就不能正常工作。 ❏ 避免放置在温度和湿度容易发生剧烈变化的地方。另外，打印机要避免阳光直射、强光或热源或空调风能够直吹到的地方。 ❏ 避免放在容易沾染灰尘、导致电击和引起振动的地方。 ❏ 在打印机周围留出足够空间以保证打印机能充分通风。 ❏ 将打印机放置在靠近墙壁插座的地方，使电源插头容易拔下。 ❏ 请勿将此产品放在低温或多尘的地方。 ❏ 请妥善使用/保管此产品，以避免因使用/保管不当（如鼠害、液体渗入等）造成故障、损伤。 6

安全指导处理墨盒运输打印机处理墨盒时请遵守以下几点 : ❏ 当运输打印机时，请与爱普生授权服务中心联系。 ❏ 将墨盒保存在儿童够不到的地方。不要让儿童喝墨水或玩墨盒。 ❏ 要获得较佳打印效果，请在安装墨盒前最好水平摇晃五次。 c 注意：不要用力摇晃（曾经安装过的）墨盒。 ❏ 处理用过的墨盒时要小心。因为出墨口附近可能还残留着一些墨水。如果墨水沾到了皮肤上。请用肥皂和水彻底清洗。如果墨水进入了眼睛，请立即用清水冲洗，彻底冲洗后如果仍感不适或看不清东西，请立即就医。 ❏ 在包装盒上印刷的日期之前使用墨盒。 ❏ 不要拆卸墨盒或试图给墨盒重新充墨。这样可能会损坏打印头。 ❏ 从较冷的存放点取出墨盒后，应在使用之前使其在室温下至少暖化 3 个小时。 ❏ 不要碰触墨盒侧面的绿色 IC 芯片。这样做可能会导致不能正常运行和打印。 ❏ 该墨盒上的IC芯片存留有墨盒的各种相关信息 : 如墨盒状态，便于随意卸下和重新插入墨盒。 ❏ 如果您要卸下墨盒留待以后使用，请保护供墨区，使之避免脏物和灰尘，将墨盒放在与打印机相同的环境中。供墨口的阀门无需盖住或堵塞，但物品与其接触可能会被弄脏。不要触碰供墨口或其周围区域。 ❏ 仅当您打算立即安装墨盒时，才可打开墨盒包装。墨盒存放于真空包装中，可保证它的可靠性。 8
