MANUAL For
mova
506
’04.4
DoCoMo 800MHz Digital System
Thank you for purchasing the mova F506i.
• Read this manual carefully before or when using the mova F506i so that you can make full use of the
product.
• Treat the mova F506i with care, and it will be your loyal partner.
○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○
Before using the mova
• The mova operates on radio waves, so it does not operate in places where radio waves are hard to
reach, such as in tunnels, in underground passages and buildings or even outdoors where radio wave
reception is poor or when the mova is outside the service area. Even when you are on a high floor of
a high building or condominium and nothing blocks your view outside, the mova may not operate.
Also, communications may be cut even when the radio waves are strong enough and the three antennas
are highlighted on the display.
•
In public places, crowded areas or quiet areas, use the mova in a manner so as not to disturb others.
• Third parties could listen into your calls as the mova operates on radio waves. The digital system,
however, automatically supports a confidential communication function for all calls, so even if your
calls are tapped, they are modified into just noise.
• The mova encodes voice communication into digital data. When you are operating the mova while
moving to a place with weaker radio waves, the transmitted digital data may not be correctly decoded,
and the decoded voice may sound different from the actual one.
• Keep a separate record of the data you have stored. Even if the data is erased, DoCoMo is not
responsible for the erasure.
• DoCoMo mova is exclusively for use in Japan.
• The user hereby agrees that the user shall be solely responsible for the result of the use of SSL.
Neither DoCoMo nor the certifier as listed herein makes any representation and warranty as for the
security in the use of SSL. In the event that the user shall sustain damage or loss due to the use of
SSL, neither DoCoMo nor the certifier shall be responsible for any such damage or loss.
