LIMITED WARRANTY For customers in the USA and Canada Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) warrants to the original purchaser that this product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase (the “Warranty Period”). Connecting the camera to the PSP™ system Insert the camera into the USB connector on the system top, and then turn the dial to secure the camera to the system (Figure ). Basic operations Operating methods vary depending on the software in use. For details, refer to the instructions for the software in use or the online user’s guide for the PSP™ system. • While recording, the camera’s recording indicator (Figure ) will be either lit or blinking. • Use macro mode to record subjects that are approximately 6 – 7 cm (2.4 – 2.8 in) away from the camera. Switch to macro mode by turning the macro mode selector to (Figure ). • You can change the direction the camera faces by turning the portion that holds the lens up and down (Figure ). • To ensure proper audio recording, do not allow dust or foreign objects to accumulate around the microphone (Figure ). • You can use the microphone feature of this product with software that supports voice recording. For details, refer to the instructions supplied with the software.
