Most people want to be happy but few know how to find happiness. Money and success
alone do not bring lasting happiness, Aristotle, a Greek thinker, said, “Happiness
depends upon ourselves.” In other words,
we make our own happiness. Here are a
few suggestions to help you be happier.
The first secret of happiness is to enjoy the simple things in life. Too often,
we spend so much time thinking getting a good job-that we fail to enjoy the present.
You should enjoy life’s simple pleasures, such as reading a good book, listening
to your favorite music, or spending time with close friends. People who have several
close friends often live a happier and healthier life.
Another secret of living a happy life is to be active, and have hobbies. Many
people experience dancing, or playing a sport, such as swimming, you can forget
about your problems, and only think about the activity. Finally, many people find
happiness in helping others. Studies show that people feel comfortable when they
spend their time helping others. If you want to feel happier, do good things for
someone. You can help a friend with his or her studies, go shopping to buy food
for an elderly person, or simply help out around the house by washing the dishes.
43. What is the best title for the passage?

best students won't only have high marks. 47 The following are some of the new rules.

school doing anything to celebrate? You should join! That way, you can learn more
about animals and how to protect them. When more people work together, it makes
it more fun for everyone,
Be open to new ideas. Have you ever thought that people could live on the moon?
Maybe you'll discover EarthⅡsomeday. Don’t look down on new ideas. Everyone's
ideas are important.
49
Protect yourself. Has someone ever taken money from one of your classmates?
Don't let it happen to you. If you have to go home late, you should let your parents
know.
Use the Internet carefully. 50
But Some things on the Internet aren't for kids,
so try to look at Web pages that are good for you. You can use the web for fun or
homework. Can't you find any good web sites for children? Here are some!
