Introduction This document provides the Openlinux notes for Amlogic Android 7.1 reference source code release running on Amlogic S905X reference hardware. How to Build Code You can find corresponding Android lunch choice and kernel config for the reference hardware by doing the following: 1) Mbox P212 . build/envsetup.sh lunch p212-user-64 make otapackage Uboot : ./mk gxl_p212_v1 (uboot/fip/u-boot.bin for nand and EMMC, uboot/fip/u-boot.bin.sd.bin for making bootcard ) 1.6. How to Upgrade There are 4 ways for update.  Upgrade with SD card Follow instructions below *ONLY IF* your device is already running a version of Openlinux based Android 7.1 reference firmware release. 4 steps: 1) Copy recovery.img, update zip file (e.g. p212-ota-20170228.zip) to SD card. 2) Copy the factory_update_param.aml to SD card; 3) Power off. 4) Press VOL- and POWER key at same time, then it will upgrade the code.  Upgrade with USB burn tool  Update with OTA  Use bootcard PC tool to make a boot TF card by bin file aml_upgrade_package.img 2 steps: 1)Insert TF card then Power off 2)Press POWER key with 2 seconds, then it will upgrade the code.  Notice : If you first burning code,need write the DTB at first(usb burning don’t need this step):  mmcinfo;   fatload mmc 0 1080000 dtb.img; store dtb write 1080000 Amlogic Confidential 5
